Pricing methodology

Prices are based on each provider's published pricing as of June 2026. All figures assume monthly billing at standard rates. Credit pack discounts and annual billing discounts are not applied.

Filtrate

$0.002 per image — flat rate, all operations included (EXIF strip, WebP compression, AI moderation)
No monthly minimum. No credit expiration. No overage surprise.
Credit packs available: $10 → 5,000 calls ($0.0020/call), $25 → 13,500 ($0.00185), $100 → 60,000 ($0.00167)

Cloudinary

Plus: $89/mo (billed annually ~$89; monthly ~$99) — 500 transformations included
Advanced: $224/mo (annual ~$224; monthly ~$249) — 3,000 transformations included
Overage: $0.004/transform above included. A single processed image = 1 upload + 1-2 transformations. AI Add-on: ~$0.001/image on top.
At 100K images: ~$89 + overage + AI = $224+/mo

Sightengine

Starter: $29/mo includes 10K operations/month; $0.002/op beyond that
Pro: $99/mo includes 40K operations/month; $0.002/op beyond that
AI moderation counts as operations. Multiple model groups = multiple operations per image.
At 100K images with 3 models: $99 + (100K × 3 - 40K) × $0.002 = $99 + $560 = $659/mo
Does NOT include EXIF strip or WebP compression — needs separate tool
